CONDITION: EXCELLENT CONDITION !! NO FOLDS - NO CREASES - NO TEARS. Only a very light moisture mark on the upper right margin corner- not onto the map area, and a few small spots of foxing; and a couple tiny dots of foxing on map area. YOU WON T BE DISAPPOINTED ! A REAL ANTIQUE!

There is a baket attached to this figure along with some magic elements such as the snail shell, seed, a piece of animal skin, and even a very small figure. The figure was originally painted in white. The features of the face recall styles located among the Mbete (Ambete) . The AMbete live along the border between present day Gabon and the south eastern region of the Republic of Congo. It is an area that in the past saw great population movements and extended trade between different people resulting in shared ritual and sculptural traditions.
